willgriffin1983
Hi all, My speedo is not working and the miles are not increasing (not too fussed about that part!) - any ideas? The revs are working as is the temp and fuel gauge.....it's a STACK on S1 Elise. I have just had a new starter motor fitted....any correlation?? Cheers! dobbo
Might have damaged the speedo cable in doing starter motor. The sensor is fitted to the NSR hub if you can follow the cable back and check.
Steve J
Yep I'd say near side rear speed sensor is disconnected, damaged or the connection in the stack.

DeanB
My advice would be take it to Gav at Unit 4 in Burton. I have been taking mine to him for 5 years now and he is an absolute diamond. A really good mechanic with over 15 years solid experience on Elises and a really genuine bloke. He'll sort it.
