S2 Battery Installation

Hi all hopefully someone can give me an answer to my problem. I have brought a new battery for my Elise, on the old battery it has secondary thin wires connected to the positive and negative with its own connection point on the batteries terminals my new battery doesn't have the second points to connect not sure what to do? i guess i can't connect directly so has anyone else got this set up in theiir Elise? thanks Chris

Does your old and new battery not just have the standard battery posts?

Yeah i am being stupid! - they can all attach to the same posts. Next question does the Elise S2 have a venting pipe for the battery?

Not that I'm aware off, and neither battery I've had has had one.

No vent pipe on mine either
