robinchild
Help! My car is too noisy! based partly on the fact that it was too noisy to listen to the stereo even before the conversion, I accept that the k20 engine is always going to create more but it really is oppressive! I have come to the conclusion that the main problem is the exhaust (tiny silencer box) and was wondering what other people are running on there type r elise's bearing in mind that It will need to flow enough for the supercharger to be added. dobbo
Assuming that any conversion will be designed to match to the existing cat and silencer locations, the Eliseparts one would fit. I have it with a silenced decat and that's good for my ~340bhp Audi conversion.
robinchild
I love mad conversions like that, I did look at the eliseparts one and that proves that it would do the Job thanks! Larini sports looks like a contender or they do their club sport with extra silencing but the latter may be a bit restrictive, I will have email them and ask. MilesH
Are you running without the cat? If so a silenced de-cat makes a big difference to noise over a non silenced de-cat. A few people with Honda's have had an exhaust made up by pro-speed with good, affordable results (I know 2 of the cars were s/c cc Honda's and mine was n/a). http://www.pro-speedexhausts.com/ Hope that helps
Steve J
I had mine custom made repackable with cat pipe too.
Enfield
I have a standard S2 with the standard cat and have just put a Hangar 111 Signature exhaust on it. The sound is just about right, a nice deep growl but not offensive. I have no idea if it would suit yours but you could give them a call and ask. Cheers

I may ask MSC what they recommend, It makes really good power at the moment thats the only thing (dyno'd at 239bhp!) so whats on it works really well but it has to go! AlanS1
I had a Larini Extra silenced one fitted when i had my Rover K series fitted. http://www.elise-shop.com/larini-sports-stainless-exhaust-with-extra-silencing-layer-elise-s1-p-502196.html It was nice and quiet when you wanted it to be, but still sounded great on full chat. I was pushing out just under 200Hp (i will be selling this when i get around to advertising it) I now have a full bespoke over the top system with the Honda engine carried out by http://www.jacexhausts.co.uk/
