Radio Communication Museum

As part of my dad's retirement project he is currently building a museum called the Radio Communication Museum of Great Britain.

We've had a two floor high spec industrial style building of about 5,000 sq feet built just off Nottingham Road in Derby. Over the last 30 years he has collected over 3,500 radios from ham radio to WW2 spy radios, right up to modern 3G mobile broadcast equipment given to the museum by EE.

We plan to open in the Autumn and as part of that we have entered a competition to help promote the museum. We (my dad is also a lotus owner) would really appreciate if people could vote for our museum in the competition on this link. http://museumsatnight.org.uk/peter-liversidge/#.Vyo6QtR4WrV

If your a Facebook person then we'll be giving more updates about the museum here https://www.facebook.com/radiocommunicationmuseum/?fref=nf

This looks great,

My dad is a lifelong 'radio amateur' himself, and is chairman of his local club.  I'm sure he will be paying a visit.  Will pass on the details to him and his club.

Sounds fantastic Chris - will definitely put this on the (ever growing) "must see" list smile.png.

PS Not Facepage person, so can't do the other bit - ha!
