I would love that in an Elise. Even with 'just' 200 bhp it would make for a stunning car.

That's very impressive!

 

They mention the whole zero emissions thing a lot. Does this mean it has a very narrow torque band? Not that it matters as it would be perfect for a range extender or coupled with a generator in a series hybrid configuration (but not so good if directly connected with the wheels) .

Isn't that the bare engine though? No ancillaries, no whacking great turbo etc? Still impressive but merely attention getting.
