M@r]{
Finally bit the bullet and ordered a MY10 rear spoiler for my Exige, so my controversial spoiler-less days could be coming to an end Ordered it from De-Roure - only £240 including all the fittings. A LOT cheaper than the early model ones for some reason?? My intention is to by a carbon centre foil from Elise Shop, so end caps in Lazer Blue and the main centre section in carbon, tie it in with the rest of the carbon bits on the car. Quite like the union jack graphics on the outside of the end plates, have to have a think about that one though, particularly what colours. And then wouldn't mind an MY10 front clam, but that can wait! Anyway this was the picture posted on SELOC that finally pushed me across the line
Meister
Have you gone off the idea of a new Exige V6 then Mark? Mark
M@r]{
Have you gone off the idea of a new Exige V6 then Mark? Mark Yes for now. The primary reason for considering one was I wanted something a little quicker. But then I took my Exige on track at Rockingham and unless I was on a cool down nothing passed me all day (well apart from some mad single seater) Got me thinking how well mine is set up for track and how a new V6 Exige wouldn't be, so would I be any quicker out there? Without spending another load of cash on coilovers, big brakes etc. And then I'd lose all the low running costs I enjoy with mine (and not to mention the extra £20k I'd have to lay out) So yeah, parked for now (until I see a nicely track spec'd V6 come up for sale )
The Cakes
Each to their own. If it floats your boat crack on but like you say it won't be to everyone's taste. Couple it with the MY10 front clam and who would know? I personally love the MY10 revisions.
DeanB
About time too mate! I think it will look great with the original clam. You are right about your car being well set up for track - it's a bloody flying machine. P.s get your name down for Lotus in the Peak. Bring the missus and make a weekend of it. She will love it. I have my eye on it don't worry. The missus won't come as she is the worlds worst passenger for anyone wanting to drive a little spirited! And then no way she'd want to spend a day around us car folk. She likes a nice car but definitely more of a tool for her. But the issue I have with coming is it's the weekend before my Nurburgring trip, so don't really want to miss out on two weekends in a row from my little gang. So weather dependent I may pop along Sunday morning for a few hours.
chumaxa
I can not agree more, really love this spoiler Would not image mine without Just like you I think about the v6, maybe I should take mine to track to change my mind ..

Leave them in bed in a nice hotel Sunday morning so you can do the run alone. Meet the gang (or just the missus, whichever) at Hassop or Chatsworth. It's not all car talk I promise you but she could have a look round Chatsworth House if she did get bored - which is mega. I don't know how old the kids are but we give out kids activities packs, including a couple of competitions - it is a pukka family day out. I would be bored to tears if it was just blokes in a field talking about camshafts

scatty
The spoiler of Kings.... Think I may carbon the centre part, it does look good, and I parked next to another white my10 at Donington that had it done and it looked ace. Think I may need to order it drunk, as it seems a lot for what it actually is.... **** your car will be well chuffed to be spoilered again...it always looked sad without it.... :-)
