Elise S1 Windscreen

Looking to replace my windscree as it is cracked would prefer to have it replaced by someone who has experience of fitting Elise windscreens.

 

Any suggestions welcome

Junks on SELOC does heated ones for a lot less than lotus. Top man, top upgrade. Wiring is simple and folks like Gav at Unit 4 are good for fitting.

 

Whether your insurance co will accept a non OEM supply depends from company to company. Mine was fitted for less than the ex-vat price of a Lotus screen and my ins co was happy. Some aren't though.

I've had Autoglass replace 2. No issues.

Same as Steve. Autoglass, no dramas.

I had Autoglass replace mine as well with no issues. However they will not do it at home. You have to take it to a main depot. Sunny Aston IIRC

Autoglass came out last Thursday, they supplied 2 fitters and it took 3 hours, they did a very good job and I am pleased with result.

Autoglass did my UP screen in 40 mins the other day.

Very simple in comparison though same excess cost.
