jako999
Hi all I am taking my S2 on a trailer behind my motorhome ive tried it on forwards and it was ok but I think it was a bit front end light on the tow bar, so I am thinking of trying it with the car reversed on to the trailer, what concerns me is that although the car will be behind the motorhome it will still be going backwards at around 60mph will there be any problem, will the roof take it and so on? After all the most it would ever do in reverse is around 15mph. Has anyone ever towed one in this way? Thanks in advance

I have a two axle trailer and tow fast and the roof stays on :-)
gingerbloke
When you think about it, Elises are designed for occasional high speed reversing because they spin so easily
Steve J
You'll be fine if you keep it under 90mph
Martin R
I thought they were supposed to be towed like that? Makes it more stable. I also though you should have it positioned on the trailer to give a certain trailer nose weight? 250kg rings a bell?
