Exige V6 Rev Limiter Problem

Hmm, so a week into V6 ownership and i've encountered my first problem!  Had a bit of a search around the internet but not found much.

Just came back from a friend's house, car wouldn't start the first time weirdly, turned over a couple of times but didn't catch.  Waited 30s and tried again, all was fine this time.  After i got out of his village i started to realise it wasn't feeling quite right.  As usual waited 5 minutes until it was up to temperature and accelerated, only to find it's noticably down on power.  The rev lights start coming on at 4k, then the limiter cuts in hard at somewhere between 4.5/5k.   I assume this is the behaviour when then engine's cold, but it was showing 84C as usual by this point.  At the end of my 45minute journey, it's still feeling sluggish and won't go above 5k.  There's no warning lights or messages, everything sounds normal.  It's the same behaviour across all three DPM modes.

Any ideas?  Fortunately it's still under warranty, but don't really want to be without it for who-knows long :(

You need to get it plugged in the OBDC tool to see if there are any codes..... I had a similar problem with mine but I did get the check engine light come on and the car went in to full limp mode.

After 2 visit back to Lotus it had to have a new engine harness fitted with better screening to prevent electrical noise interfering with the throttle sensor/ECU.

If you have AA cover give them a call and get them to plug it in and check for codes.

Hmm that's the one i failed to find last time i was in the area :) didn't have a very hard look tbh, it all just looked like a building site at the time.   This time i have more of a reason to actually try and find the place!  I'm sure they would have sneered at me in a 370z before :D

Thanks for the suggestion
