quantum2000
I'd like to think I influenced Lotus into making this decision.... After threatening to reject my latest V6 due to them promising they would build it how I wanted, even signing off the build sheet. Then when viewing it at the factory it wasn't to spec! Fair play to Lotus and JCT600 they sorted it in the end.

Eric
I had quite a fight with the Elise S, and the Elise 1.6 before that. In fact, Lotus built the first 1.6 as a left hand drive car!!!!! But, all credit to the factory for pulling it back out of the bin - they built another right hand drive car in 10 days flat after they acknowledged their "mistake". Shame that the 1.6 turned out to be cr@p then.
