I really struggled with my knee so don't think I'll be doing any more miles anytime soon. sad.png

I should make a new years resolution to use it 2-3 times a week next year even if it does mean moving the other car out the way first.

I've just had the Elise serviced - should be good for another year / 7,873 miles!!!!

Plus, went over to Hethel in the Elise last Saturday, for the first "Evora 400 Experience" - yehaaa.  Track was soaking wet, unfortunately, but the car was still very quick.  Just spoilt by the dreaded weight saving Sparco seats that don't even close to the incredibly high standards set by the previous, standard fit Recaros.  They (Lotus) have also done some seriously dodgy changes to the gear lever end of the selection mechaism.  Maybe in search of a more "positive" action, it succeeds only in making gear changes heavy handed and obstructive.  But, worst of all, imho, is the way it looks.  Russell Carr must be spinning in his chair with rage.

Ok, yes, the latest iteration of the Evora is a lot quicker with 400 bhp, but does that make it better?  Hmmm, no, I don't think so.  I reckon there's still plenty of room for an entry level N/A car, equipped with "heavy" Recaros, "pre-Coco" looks, and black detailing.  Hang on a minute - that's my car - yeah!!
