Whether it is the hand-spray painted lightweight body or the craftsmen and women who stitch together high quality Scottish leather for the interior, each stage of the manufacturing process is a perfect example of passion and commitment.” Accompanying the Lotus Evora 400 and the Lotus Exige Club Racer in the Saatchi gallery are a selection of beautifully presented pictures showing some of the hand built details of the Lotus car manufacturing process. The pictures give an insight of both the assembly process and the human touch behind every Lotus at the company’s Headquarters and manufacturing facility, in Hethel, Norfolk. Lotus presents at the SalonQP Fine Watch Exhibition Lotus Evora 400 The Lotus Evora 400 combines high performance with the legendary Lotus benchmark handling and is lighter, more efficient and dynamically better than ever, providing a purer driving experience, greater agility and a more involving drive. Weighing just 1395 kg, the new Evora 400 combines high performance with the legendary Lotus benchmark handling. This performance, and handling, combined with a maximum speed of 186 mph (300 km/h) and acceleration 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds) makes the new Evora 400 the fastest production Lotus ever, The Lotus Exige Club Racer With its lightweight aluminium chassis-tub and aerodynamically enhanced composite bodywork, the Lotus Exige Club Racer, delivers exhilarating performance, benchmark handling and a pure driving experience combined with a 3.8 seconds 0-60 mph acceleration time and a top speed of 170 mph. The Exige Club Racer weighs just 1161 kg and possesses 42 kg of aerodynamic downforce at 100 mph, thanks to the front splitter, rear wing and flat underside, all contributing to its phenomenal performance and handling balance.
