Lotus Type 79

Hi

Can anyone tell me how I can find out if my s1 is a type 79?

 

Also the paint on my car is ok but thinking of respray or should I leave as original ?

Suggestions?

Not sure about number 1.

As for number 2 I would leave the paint if it's ok. If it's shagged I would respray it...

Have you thought about getting a professional detailing company round to cut it back and polish it?

It's just got a few scratches that do stand out and has a few small bubbles.
