Alex B
Really glad you've got it sorted. Don't knock yourself too much, it's not been a case of being unable to do the job more a case of the parts not being up too the job at hand. If you've got anything to replace in the future speak to Gav as his knowledge of replacement parts is brilliant. Alternator bolt is a very common issue its a good job you caught it early other wise it can be a pig of a job to get the sheared bolt out. Shock wise depends on your budget. Gazgolds aren't a bad shout as a budget coilovers Nitrons are brilliant but a fair bit more pricey than Gazgolds If you are feeling mega flush go for ohlins. Don't be worried about buying secondhand shocks just make sure they aren't siezed up.
