It would be good to welcome you to my meet in Shirebrook on 23rd August then as that's to raise money for the FireFighters Charity, in all fairness tho it would be nice to welcome any of you
quantum2000
My advice if money is important is to set up on your own. If avoiding stress is important then work for someone else. Couldn't agree more! I'm a director of a security company, (mainly I.T security). Set the company up 10+ years ago, been in the industry 20 years
Daveb99
Store Manager for WhSmiths... Hate it with a passion... Let's say it's changed from when I joined 20 years ago... I swear il have a broom up mi arse, 4 self serve tills and no staff if they carry on.... Oh well. Company profits are up.... Ffs...... :-) Interesting Scatty - my wife and I both worked for WHS from 1994-2000 (I started my career there as a grad). We then transferred to an IT company when they outsourced it back in 2000. My wife's history with them goes back to 1988, when she was a book department manager at West Brom after leaving school. We met working at Head office in Swindon, IT was dead mans shoes there, so the outsource has worked out pretty well. I lost count of how many times my battery died on the WHS rooftop car park on my first S1 due to leaving the lights on.....my mates were jump starting us every week! Which store do you manage? hartleyj
I'm a self employed management consultant, saving clients money on their overheads. Amazing how many people think they've got a great deal but they don't have a clue really. Been doing it 14 years now. Before that it was retail (Dixons, Next etc) and a spell at Thomas Cook.
