Public Car Parks

Odd question, but i'm looking to hear of experiences of anyone who uses public car carks / park and ride on a regular basis. Do you have a lot of problems with or see damage being done to cars eg doors opening onto the side of the next car along etc.

My company is changing its parking policy so i will no longer be assured of a place in the car park, from mid Aug it will be on a first come first serve basis. When the car park is full then the alternative is to use the park and ride. I dont know how much of an issue this will be as i do get in fairly early most days, but i like to take my daughter to school once a week and will almost certainly miss getting a space on those days.

I'm a bit concerned about leaving the evora in the park and ride on a regular basis in terms of it getting damaged.

Any thoughts / experiences?

Cheers

Chris

I've only used it on park and ride only a couple of times, tend to park away from anyone but usually come back to people parked next to it. I use in supermarkets too but not keen on it. Multi stories also have problems there're been a couple which have skimmed the front bumper and some spaces don't actually fit properly as it doesn't allow you to open the door as spaces are so close in some parking places

i used to use broad marsh multi story.

£65 per month, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

if you arrive before 8.15 isn you can have the pick of the spots , some end bays with no one near by.

never had a mark in 2 1/2 years. Conversely i've had 2 bumps on my new company car park that no one has owned up too :(

I was hoping for some pointers myself...

If I recall correctly Scatty is our MLOC expert when it comes to dogging as his chosen subject in Mastermind was 'Dogging Tales' as shown on Channel 4 in 2014.smile.png

Ha ha ha ha,, I've still got my mask mark.... :-)

Chris, not sure where you work exactly, but you could park behind my shop in Beeston and catch the tram into town when it's up and running if that's ever an option....
