Anyone have any experience with either of the above,

I've done a little research on Seloc and they seem to get a fairly good response of those who have owned them.

The reason I ask is I'm thinking about going to look at this one.

I live by paul mattey and went to see this car as it is owned by malcom ricketts , ( more out of curiosity as i have seen the car before ) although the car is good its producing around 170 bhp at the moment

 

The supercharger was fitted by hanger 111

 

 

Imo its a resonable price for the car but has more potential with another 2-3 k spending on it ? speak with craig at hanger 111 im sure he can tell you the work done

 

Matteys are selling it on behalf of malcom ricketts !

 

Let me know if you come down i could meet up with you there or somewhere close by

Thanks for the info Colin, will give hanger a ring not overly fussed about the power output more about realibility which from reading Seloc is very good on everything bar the tt260 kits.

Was going to pop in today on my way home however Paul mattys isn't open on a Sunday.

Can't comment on the super charger I'm afraid alex, but make sure you take your sunglasses for that interior!

 

Looks a nice car. Are you giving up on the s1?

The S1 is running lovely since returning it to VVC and standard lotus Ecu. I've regretted moving to an S1 from an S2 since first doing so last year. I prefer the looks of the s2 and the fact they are a tiny bit more comfortable.

The S1 was something I wanted to try.

Really honest of you Alex well done mate, if that's the case sell your car first and then have a proper good look around before committing. For me it's a little too much of a delve into uncharted waters, I'd want something more familiar, especially if coming from a car that hadn't done it for me.

I have to say I think you at right, ideally I'm after a 135sport (rover lump) or a Toyota engined car.

 

I have my eye on a few but in no rush.

Alex I'm sure you will but check to see if the pistons have been changed from standard.

According to Craig at hanger 111 it's on a standard engine and pistons at the moment albeit the car started life as a 135 sport and is running on bilstens

A 135 sport means it has a Janspeed (i think) ported head which ought to help

Correct Dean ..Craig at hanger told me with a bit of work and additional cooling the car could achieve 220 bhp ( as the charger has been limited to protect the engine at this moment ) the car is and was fitted with a turbo teqnics charger which went wrong so hanger fitted there conversion kit to the existing ?

Thanks for the further info.

It will be one to avoid then for me, as its running standard internals that causes issues with the supercharger kits.

Alex there is a nice looking red s2 135 sport for sale on Autotrader for eleven and a bit grand. Low miles too. Also a blue s2 111s in Belper that looks sensible.

Thanks Dean, I hadn't seen the red one will have look now.

 

It looks a nice car actually, if it's still there when mines sold it might be a possibility.
