jonnyfox
I may do the funnel but I may leave the uprights. I would have thought that would have been how they were originally finished with a zinc passivate. Anyway, once complete the car won't get the use it's had over the last 15 years. Martin R
Jon, they were finished with zinc passivate. I could not tell that from the pic. Its the reason they rust so quickly. A addition coating will help or never use it in the wet or Winter
jonnyfox
I suppose that's it really, I generally won't. There's nothing on the front Aluminium uprights either. How hot do you reckon they get?
KurtB
Leave em silver Jonny. Mine are gold and clear coated. The front uprights are probably best left bare metal, they'll corrode sufficiently to protect themselves from large deterioration. Looking good btw. jonnyfox
Why can you never get the top back off POR paint once you've used it. Anyway I started to refurb the rear calipers.
