Simon Mac
So after just over 3 weeks and 1200 miles *, my car has just been given it's 1000 mile service, and it's all systems go TBH Getting up at 7:00 to drive over to Leeds, take the morning off to sit in a Bentley dealership, then drive back to Nottingham over the endless 50mph average cameras has been far more painful than the run-in limitations. Something tells me a "spirited" drive is on the cards this evening (* btw, @Fish the units are correct: weeks not years, and miles not meters )

Simon Mac
Good idea - fancy a meet up? How far are you from Chatsworth? I'd love to, but I'm teaching a Scuba session at 9:00 tonight in Southwell. So I've not got enough time to run over to the Peaks, and will have to make do with a local blat around East Nottingham out toward Southwell / Newark. Would be up for a trip out one day over the weekend though, weather permitting.
Mutley00
Southwell that stirs memories from my Triathlon Days - are you in the Pool? I'm around all weekend if you want to come to the Peaks - I'm sure I've got a few roads that Dean doesn't include on the Chatsworth run!
Simon Mac
Yep, in the pool at the leisure centre. It's not too bad as pools go, at least it has a proper "deep" end. But Ponds Forge is far more fun
Simon Mac
So first proper run out without being worried about nannying the car, and I can honestly say I'm blown away. I have been really careful/paranoid on the run-in, so now that psychological burden has gone, even driving at 7/10ths (if that) it's simply mega. The ride is supple like my old K series, but with the power and grip of my old Exige 220 (on steroids). In other words, my perfect car. I won't say how long it took me to get back from Southwell, only that it surprised me. (And yes I drove at night with the roof off )
