Painting The Rear Under Tray?

Hi all the rear under tray lets my car down as there is corrosion around the rivites I dont think the previous owner could have looked after them very well. Has anyone sprayed the alloy tray if so is it hard and is there anythig special I should know also its a burnt orange car so should I stay silver or go black?

I had mine done over the winter as I had the same problem. I took it to my local powder coaters and had it blasted and re painted in black. £30 job done.

There are a couple of powder coaters in Redditch. Dan Webster will point you in the right direction

Brushed mine 4/5yrs ago with wirebrush, sprayed alu primer and a couple of coats of por5 black. It's still ok.
