hypermark
Hi All, New member here so please be gentle....cant find any answers to this one on the forum so hope someone can help. I've recently had the oil cooler hoses replaced but am not entirely happy with the position of the front clamshell and want to adjust it slightly. Not keen on taking it all the way back to the dealer who did the job as I wasn't too impressed so thought it cant be that difficult to do myself. So I've found the two screws/allen head bolts accessed in the door shut area and the ones under the inspection panels, and the ones under the front splitter. Looks like there are one or two behind the rear portion of the wheel arch but not clear without removing the arch liner. Does anyone have a simple diagram showing where all the fasteners are on the Exige? Or can explain where all the other ones are? Cheers, Mark. hypermark
Hi Martin, Yes it does help - thanks. Just need to ask though, about any fasteners between the lower panel in-front of the door where the clamshell meets it. From what I can see there is something there but I have not found any diagrams that clarify this. As I said in my earlier post I can see something behind the gap in the wheel arch liner but its not obvious if there is a fastner between this lower panel and clam. Thanks for your help, Mark. Martin R
Mark, i presume the Exige is the same as my Elise. The lower panels are held on to the car by 2 bolts from under the sill. There are also 2 bolts holding the lower panel to the upper part of the clam. These are behind the wheel arch liners on both sides obviously. There are also some spacers between the 2 panels at the joint normally. All will become apparent when you remove the arch liners
