Fitting An Induction Kit To A Toyota Supercharged Engine

Recommended Posts

Apologies if this has been done before. I did a search and couldn't find anything specific on here or SELOC.

I'm thinking of fitting a Hurricane induction kit to my Exige 220s.

First of all, is this feasible, or would the supercharger present a problem?

Secondly, would this be a relatively simple task, or would the supercharger need to be removed for access?

Any advice gratefully received.

Martin

Hi Martin,

I've changed mine a few times on mine.

When I bought the car it came with a pipercross vis system which sounded great buti didn't like the look in the engine bay as i was going stock looking.

I took that off and bought a original airbox and trd kit Which I am currently running. Changing wise it's a relatively simple job just fiddly. The easiest and quickest way is actually to take of the Nsr wheel and arch liner then you have really good access to the vacuum pipes etc. No need to touch the intercooler or supercharger.

Thanks guys.

I've taken the plunge and ordered the Hurricane kit last week. I like the look of them and the sound. Good to know they're straight forward to fit.
