Go and have a good look. If you want it get it checked by a good independent specialist. It will cost you 100 quid or so but may save you a fortune. If it shows any problems you can pull out or negotiate a deal     smile.png   With the best will in the world its hard to check properly on the road.

If the seller will not let you do this, find another one. The are a number of good specialists depending where the car is. Welcome to MLOC BTW.

Oakmere had a blue one i've just had a look and now they have a really nice looking red Sports Racer the sales guy was great I felt sorry not to buy the car from him but I decided to go for an SC with the extra power and got it from Silverstone. At least from a dealer its guaranteed to be straight and with a warranty.

I had an 06 reg late registerd 05 model though.

In lazer blue. Was a stunning car.

Test drive as many as possible as I found one or two absolute dogs while looking for the right one.

  • 3 weeks later...

I have a 2006 111R and can confirm new dash and airbags.

Check the top of the door - just below the window for paint blisters, seems to be a problem with cars about this age.  Only cure I am told is new doors because if you repaint the door the blisters come back through.

Or, has anyone found a way to cure them ??
