Track Season Is Open!

Did my first track day of the season.

Was hosted by my friends over at #trackaddict at Rockingham raceway.

With Myself, Jody and Marcus from MLOC attending

60 car open pit lane day.

Very good track manors from everybody.

One red flag

Felt like the track was empty for most the day.

After some track side mods, a short a sweet drivers brief we were off.

The morning started off lovely and dry. I managed to get some good laps in and put the shitbox through its paces.

Lunch came along far to quick and unfortunately brought the promised wet weather with it.

The rain made the track very slippy as it's not got the best of grip in the dry let alone the wet.

All in all a cracking day out!

Dean The shitbox went like the clappers!

we are definitely getting close to finished now.

Just about cured my low speed juddering issue as well.

Good to see you are out again Alex, Jody and co.

Where next?

(Like the front plate Alex looks good!)

Next for me will be Cadwell park may 28th unless I sneak an April outting in.

Front plate is an eBay special was £4 I think, it's reflective so almost legal.

Oooooooh Cadwell. I love that place!!

Will have to clear the diary!!

Added bonus is a good curry house on the route back to Notts!

Will have a look on e-bay for a plate.

The current appendage is waaay too big!

Number plate sticker was from here. Few different sizes available.

Just give him reg details on purchase.

Alternatively if you want smaller "proper" plates dono market will be the best bet.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thinking of doing blyton with LoT on 30th may, anyone else going?

I'm not sure I'm about but if I am I could easily be tempted.

New plate is on!

Such a shame the standard plate wastes those curves!! image.jpg

I like that!
