Stig95
Ok, so i have forgot to put the trickle charger on before storing the car in the garage. Just wondering if you can hook up a battery charge without disconnecting the battery? Some cars say you can do this other explicitly state that this is a really bad idea (I cant see anything in the hand book)/ Thoughts/Suggestions (apart from remembering to attach the trickle charger :-) )

Mutley00
Agree with Phil. Both our S1 & S2 have been on trickle charge during Winter for donkeys years, without disconnecting the battery. I think you are likely to incurr more problems if you do disconnect it!
Stig95
Phil Sorry just clarify the question can I hook up the battery charger without disconnecting the terminals. I know the trickle charger will be fine.
Cbaileyuk
Yes you can but if the battery is totally dead the charger can sometimes trip out. You will need to disconnect the battery in that case. I would attach. If it works, great, else disconnect.
