Alex B
Standard fly wheel on new engine hence swapping. Unsure on whether it's been balanced or not so in gonna risk it with the lightened fly. Release bearing is on order Most the bolts are in decent nick once cleaned. Worst of the lot are the exhaust mani bolts.

Alex B
Finically managed to spend an hour or two on the car this weekend. Cam belt off new water pump and tensioner Made the tappets squishy Put them back and placed the cams on top ready for cam ladder to go back in place. Martin R
Alex, consider cleaning the tappets out. I have done a couple of sets. Its a bit fiddly but should ensure you have no rattly ones
Alex B
Wednesday evening I planned on getting the engine ready to drop in. Alex B
Spent a few hours on the car last night and got some little bits n pieces done. Wrapped the exhaust Solid cams got dropped in Cleaned up my new cam cover and temp fitted my new cam cover Bolted the gear box back on Used my Jedi mind powers to pick the engine up and drop it back in Then boom! It was in and bolted up! Pretty pleased with how far I've managed to get this evening. Just needs wiring and pipe work plumbing in. Followed by fluids then we should be ready to start her up.
