Simon Mac Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 As the CDL is controlled by a pulse from the alarm system, and the problem happened after you fused the alarm circuit, it's more likely the alarm is futzed Especially as your central locking still works from the interior button. My understanding is the CDL is little more than a pair of time delay relays, effectively turning the short "lock" / "unlock" pulse from the interior button or the alarm system, into a slightly longer power activation cycle to drive the lock actuators. Bear in mind the alarm is also hooked into the interior light and ignition circuits, further adding weight to the alarm being the culprit I think you might need to visit an auto-electrician rather than just swapping out bits.
