Looks good, but I don't get the point of this car, where is it suppose to be compare to the exige ? And then why using the Elise base and not the exige ?

I might be misreading you; Exige Cup is a (lightweight) road version of Exige and the Exige Cup R is track only.

 

the Elise does not have a Cup road version only a track car.

Judging by the number plate, it looks like it might have been an early development Cup R, complete with matt wrap and aero kit.

 

But the Cup R gets A048s too, so a bit more corner speed should be possible, especially if the aero does actually generate useful down-force.
