Christopher Lawless
Having got fed up of smashing my number plate on everything round Sheffield I decided to get a smaller plate like the one on Simon's so it didn't over hang. It was all a good idea till I come to fit it and whilst unscrewing the existing plate find that the front splitter is in a right mess. It could be cleaned up a bit but it is cracked in several places so was thinking about replacing it and having some paint touched up on the clam where the splitter has rubbed. What's everyone's thoughts on them? Is it best just to put an official lotus one on or are there better ones? What sort of price are we talking for one? chris_h
Can't remember price when I bought a lotus one a few years ago, but it was cheaper than I expected. (Couple of hundred pounds I think)
Dazzx10r
Why not just get it repaired? it's only fibreglass at the end of the day, so should be quite simple to make a good strong repair. Replacements aren't that badly priced though... http://elise-spares.com/lotus-body?product_id=
