C1RVY
Went to look at an Elise today with a mate. It was a 2003 Gordon Lamb special edition. It had the K series engine & was supercharged. It had a few little upgrades from new and was 1 of about 15 I'm told. Any one know about these? Also, what do we think it would be worth? It's a bit tired, not been used much, done 13,000 miles, a bit neglected but generally sound. Cheers for any inputs guys.
Dennis
Gordon lamb were the lotus (as well as other run of the marques, rover, Saab, Mitsubishi, Honda, Toyota) dealer in Sheffield. The cars were standard apart from painted brake calipers and some stitching on the headrests from memory (suspension may have been tweaked?) I am pretty sure they were normally aspirated and I do not think they sold very well (they were in th showroom for ages)

C1RVY
Got a link? It is a Turbo Technics unit, apparently got 230bhp! Not got a link to it though as its not advertised yet. It belongs to an old mate of mine in West Bridgford who's hopeless with cars, never used it, didn't really look after it, & doesn't know that much about it, despite having owned it for the past 5 years! It's an odd one really.
Alex B
Oo, it's the bigger powered unit as well, definitely a rare beast then. If the conversion has been done right it should have TT low comp pistons and other fancy gubbins on it.
fentuz
When was the conversion done? if less than 4 years, then it is a hangar111 kit which is meant to be pretty good. The previous conversion from the 2000's could be good or unreliable. I saw some cars on track that were very good and appears sound and saw some that would not finish the day. It's also fitted with harnesses & bar. Could it be a good find do we think?
