nordberg
Hi there, As some of you may be aware I am planning to get the lotus back on the road. Just got an insurance quote I am happy with and hope to pay the premium next week when I get paid. Thinking ahead I need to source a battery but also a catalytic converter. Now I have been under the illusion that they are nearly £200. Just looked on eBay and there are 3 businesses on there selling for less than £70 new. If this is the case I am going to buy one, fit it and keep it fitted instead of having to go through the hassle of borrowing one and changing every year for the mot. Can somebody just settle my conscience before I part with my hard earned cash that these are a suitable part for my car and possibly explain why I have been under the illusion that they cost a great deal more than £70? Thanks in advance Andy
Raffe
Hi My Cat had gone. I bought one of the £70 ones. It fits a treat and has passed the last 2 MOTs without a problem. You can spend a lot more on a cat, one with better precious metal content (I think) but these seem to be absolutely fine! Cheers Ash
