New Rear R888 Prices

hi folks

 

just got the car back from new discs / pads / braided hoses and battery fitting

 

and have managed to pick up a metal staple in left rear - looks like its to close to edge fro repair - approx 4 cm from inside edge, so need to get a new tyre - its done all of 500 miles, so thankfully only need 1 as other side is only lightly rubbed in and no track days done on them.

 

demon tweaks are quoting £175 per tyre, cam skill who i usually get them from don't seem to have them listed at present so looked at the below, which seems cheap...or am i missing something??\\

 

any thoughts as ever gratefully received

A few of the evo boys have bought from mytytes and had no problems at all... They too were concerned at being £70 a comer cheaper,

 

I've just done a search and haven't found any problems..they turned up ok and all were happy...

current tyre beyond repair so ordered new tyre last night from my-tyres.

 

got email this morning saying despatched by DPD couriers, figured it would arrive tomorrow.

 

nope, its due on the 17th, and is currently in a despatch hub in budapest!!!!

 

interesting location for sure to be posting 1 tyre from, perhaps it will be ready scrubbed in when i get it

I think it's a foreign company and the "mytyres" is the british arm of it... You must be getting them from some small warehouse in the Ukraine... (I might have made that up)....

Can't see any mention of the compound, I think there are two compounds SG & GG very soft & soft.

They had 2 speed ratings, so I matched with what I had on, 94w I think.

But didn't see a compound ??

I'll check tomorrow,

£50 cheaper ...... Theres always a catch, hope I don't need to test the 30 day refund policy

Well some progress . My tyre has reached naufham in Germany.

Hope it's coming air freight the rest of the way or my march road tax will be wasted !!!

well i think a top result, cost and service wise if your not in a next day / urgent situation.

 

tyre made it from germany to stoke on trent via birmingham in 22 hours and is now on my car.

 

compound is correct GG, as others on car so I'm a happy customer.

 

i have spent the saved cash on a new filler cap surround, new decals and some stone guards.

 

will post a couple of pics of all the pre summer TLC soon
