Hi Everyone

 

I'm sure I will have met some of you before but for those that dont know I'm Jon from lotushardtops.com

 

We manufacture hardtops for the S2 Elise in GRP and in carbon fibre as well as replacement clamshells which we supply into the insurance repair industry but also to private individuals where needed.

 

In addition to the parts supply we also buy and sell Lotus cars (mainly S2 chassis) so if you are selling up give me a try!

 

I'll be out and about as much as possible during this year so watch out for our rather eyecatching demo car which has our carbon fibre roof/rollbar cover and front clamshell fitted:

The front clams are £849 including vat. We do a 10% discount for MLOC members on all parts.

Can you provide extended scoop hardtops for the Exige?

Thanks scatty I do seem to have got a soft spot for it after the respray!

 

M@r]{ we dont do the Exige roof but I know Eliseparts roof is very good so I would recommend that.

and how much is the roll bar cover and h/top

do the indicators fit your front clam any better than the original !!

The Roof and rollbar cover together are £1500+ VAT The outers are fully autoclaved carbon fibre made in the UK with our own tooling. The inners are made from lightweight GRP and the roof flocked complete with covers. We can do the roof in full carbon if preferred bringing the total to £2000+ VAT. Weight saving for the CF inner is minimal hence why we use the GRP for it. The roof weighs in at 5 KG with the GRP inner. Rollbar is just slightly lighter than OEM.

 

The clams I'm afraid fit the indicators just exactly the same as OEM!. A little dab of sikaflex on the top keeps them from popping out.
