Meister
I have just ordered some of this. Can I spray this everywhere ( obviously not on the brake pads/discs ) or are there places/surfaces that don't like it? Mark
Dr H
Brake discs and pads. I've sprayed the engine bay and all the suspension with it a couple of years back for winter storage. It actually reversed some of the corrosion on the gearbox casing. Came out cleaner than it went in!

Reg
If you spray this in the engine bay, I assume it's going to burn off once you use the car again? Does this result in clouds of smoke?
Dr H
I didn't do the ex manifold and I never saw any smoke when running the car.
Reg
Might try some on the transaxle and go from there then.
Matt C
Do you just apply this to corrosion, or does it need treating first and this then just prevents further corrosion? Just wondering what to do to my suspension chassis mounting points post refurb of the wishbones.
Martin R
Matt, i just clean up my mounting points first, then check for corrosion. Mine were ok. I then gave them a good dose of ACF 50. You can also get it in a grease like form. http://www.eliseparts.com/products/show/60/865/corrosion-block-grease/
Matt C
Thanks Martin. I am still to remove mine to see - putting it off as I am not sure I want to see what is lurking behind....
