6 days to go until the final one. You really wouldn't want me babysitting right now !

 

 

 

Many thanks for those that have pledged, both on the thread and by pm. I have a proposal for you all (and anyone else that still might pledge). A mate at work's son is doing it as well this year (he's only young, bless him, and probably still only had bum-fluff). He works in a small company and two of the bosses have each promised to double whatever he gets. If I were to pledge him by the same amount that I've been pledged, that would triple the total to Movember from my pledges. Obviously, there'd be no direct traceability between any of your pledges and a final donation to Movember, but it would greatly increase "my" part in it.

 

I haven't yet decided either way. If people have concerns about that, I'd understand and would probably end up splitting my collection - a direct donation for anyone with concerns and a pledge to the other guy for him to get tripled by his bosses for those that are happy with that.

Chris, remind me for a donation at the Christmas do. I think doubling the money sounds a good idea. Even with a tach im sure you are trustworthy

Hmm, slight change of plan - the directors where he works have said that they didn't expect him to reach £800 and are bottling any further doubling of his pledges, so me adding all mine will tip them over the edge.

 

So, I won't be pledging him, but will still be doing my own donation on 30th.
