Exige Rgb ?

After checking my letter from Lotus archives I can confirm that there are 141 Exige RGB and 69 Elise RGB worldwide.
I too am baffled about the number allocation system for the individual cars, i'm sure there was some logic to it at the time!

I've done a bit of digging!
Exige and Elise RGB numbers are combined, so there are a total of 210 number allocations. Number 210 is actually an exige in the USA. Number 1 is Roger Becker's own car and was actually one of the last cars off the line. Originally customers could pick their own number and if that number was available they could have it. If the customer did not pick a number, one would be allocated at random and generally the higher the number, the newer the car. And to make it even more confusing, customers could pick a low number and then ask for a later build slot if they wanted.
It still doesn't make that much sense to me, but i'm sure Lotus knew what they were doing!

Lotus will know what they were doing. However it will make no sense to anyone else normally

The last ones off the turnip line do seem to be holding their value really well - especially the magnificent red edition Exige S 240
