Fish and chip run next time hey G?
Thanks to both jons for a well organised and run day! And thanks to Laura for not getting us lost this time!

Great turnout of cars and friends. The drink and food stops were welcomed and split the three 60 mile runs up perfectly.
The drive past clywedog reservoir to Mac was wonderful, one of my favourite welsh roads, sure everyone enjoyed that sprint.
Great to see Greg & Ali back on the runs, it's amazing to Greg so well!!
Looking forward to the next run, maybe a skeggy fish & chip run?

We had a brilliant day, really enjoyed ourselves. Great company, great roads and great weather!
Good to catch up with peeps we've not seen for a while and lots of new faces for us too which is always nice and what helps make MLOC the great club it is.
So good to see Greg and Ali, fantastic to see you in my rear view mirror again after lunch today mate!!!
Massive thanks to Jon for organising this.....it's been too long since the last one and hopefully today has shown the support is there for them to happen regularly again.
We've got a few pics to sort through....i'll try and post them up tomorrow.

Had a great day yesterday, really enjoyed the roads and getting to see everyone. All worth the drive across to Wales.
Would also appear baby brain is working in my favour and my sense of direction has actually improved which I know people in our group certainly wont expecting lol.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon, perhaps in December: http://www.midlandsl...nniversary-run/ or fish and chips sooner than that sounds good to me too!

Thanks for the positive comments, makes it all worthwhile when everyone enjoys it so much. Really quite an eventful day, mystery Lotus including an Evora at Four Crosses, Escaped Cows and Tractor convoy's added to some of the most fantastic Lotus friendly roads in the UK.
Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come along, I really appreciate it, especially when so many of you travelled so far to take part in what was a very long run. Any pictures??
To you all.
Ps, Martin, no Mloc run is really complete without you Liz and Stripey, really sorry we couldn't change the date to suit. Get the Maccy D run booked for next year!

well what a great day,
cars, weather, company....and the roads...my arms are stil aching, never mind you feeling shattered greg, i needed a hot bath and an early night !!
13 hrs, 360 miles, a few photos's - several kamakaze sheep, a stray cow, 40+ tractors, and awesome scenery to be revisited for sure.
catching up with jon s, his dad and the lovely mini petrol head charlie,
seeing jon e continuing to morph into chris evans,
meating peter field, watching is beast in the rear mirrors and hoping for an invite to europe next year,
seeing the mloc family growing..literally with laura and g,
commitment from the type 23 boys and there efforts to get to the run from darkest leicestershire,
seeing dans mean machine in the flesh
and kicking tyres with the rest of a great bunch of folk, and hopfully 2 new lotus converts,
made for a great day for me and ethan, truly a day we will chat about for years to come and he can remember as he drives me around in my dotage...in the exige - whatever colour it is by then..
thx for organising jon, and i promise i will step up to the plate in 2014 with a peaks run to keep us meeting up in true mloc tradition
p.s think peter managed to get scattys new motor in this pic, yellow with a few rust spots
