Numbnutz Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I had a lot of discussion with Gaz as well, and very helpful he was too - in fact he came joint second, but if going to the expense of buying toelinks and fitting them and a geo - I wanted longevity and NMB rod ends are the best - but cost a bit more. Yvo has one of the more affordable NMB options. To be honest, I'd prefer these fitted to Spitfire rods, shame he refuses to do NMB ends. I did ask. Spitfire toelinks look very nice when new, and maybe a touch lighter, but I wanted performance/reliability foremost over looks. Infact I think the ones I got look plain but hey ho.
olliecast Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Theres plenty of debate regarding the toe links spitfire provides vs yvo. I dont know anywhere near enough to even think about discussing it. Looks really arent a factor as you dont see them anyways?
R.I.B. Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 I think the motorsport ones will be a bit overkill for me. I only do 2-3 trackdays a year. Dean - I have seen the geoday thread but I'm already happy with the way my car is set up and I'll get Mike to fit the toe links and keep the alignment as it is.
