Code 0137

Just hooked up a code reader to the bag of nails as a few weeks ago the mil light came on, went off for a while them returned and went off again ?

The code is 0137

Does the lotus massive know what this can be and is it going to financially finish me off?

The post cat sensor ( after the cat ) only puts the MIL light on. usually its either blowing a load of crap out or the wiring is dodgy or the sensor is on the way out. The one before the cat adjusts the mixture and its the important one. If the MIL light has gone off, clear the code with the OBD reader and see if it returns?

 

I would not worry about this one too much.

As above the post sensor isn't that important as its only really checking that the cat is working. You can read the voltages with a code reader and it will tell you if its working correct.

 

If you do need a new sensor there's a guy on eBay selling genuine rover ones for £35 and the post sensor is an easy day job.
