KShez Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I have just hit a pheasant and damaged my beloved Elise S2 111S. I'm seriously cheesed off, although I guess the poor Pheasant has had a worse day. The poor bugger went straight through the grill. There is no internal damage but the grill is smashed (I'm guessing this is cheap) and more upsetting the bumper which it attaches to has splintered, see picture below. Does this mean a new bumper or can it be repaired? Any idea of prices either way? I'm taking it into the dealer next week, but would appreciate any views on likely costs in the meantime...
russelld Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Yes it will be repairable. Regarding cost, to do the job properly the clam will have to come off so it would be well over most insurance excesses. To give you an idea send some photos to Frank at option 1 he will be able to quote from them. http://www.option1sportscars.co.uk/
KShez Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 Thanks for that, I've just rang option 1 and spoke to Frank and agreed to send in the photos as a first step. Many thanks.
