KurtB Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 If you lock a cat in the garage, ensure your car doesn't have a cover on it. Cats tend to try to ruck the cover, causing nasty scratches and then demand shooting until they are dead. Elaine, sorry I went into autopilot. Cheese is crap for mousetraps, peanut butter is superb and is what I've used with success. As for the naysayers who say you shouldn't kill anything, I assume they're vegans who live in wooden shacks and deplore our capitalist society? Or are they like a lot of other do gooding nimby middle class hippy cretins????? Shoot them too. Rant ends...
Wild Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I've found the best bait was dried pasta, for the traps that have a little bowl, rather than a spike. It never goes mouldy and you can leave the trap set for weeks, might be advisable to check it ocasionally though if you wish to avoid the smell of putrefying mouse

Phil S1 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Might be a bargain, seeing as it's listed as for a Lotus ELITE
HABC Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Thanks Martin. Waiting for a price on a black roof at the moment as well. Got some mice poison, pink stuff in a tea bag. Having nibbled two of the bags they are either dead or having a tea party on me... Think I need to clear out the garage at the weekend, smelly dead mice
