Broken! Its been away at a auto electricians having a new alarm fitted as it went mental, a big bill later and 3 days and the interior door handle snaps... again for the third time! I didn't swear much, honest.

Well mines now got a scratch on the rear quarter ranting2.gif The wind blew half an RX7 front bumper (a souvenir from my BDC days) off the shelf and it must have hit the car badmood.gif Luckily the scratch wasn't deep and a quick bit of attention and its 'nearly' invisible. Still not a happy bunny though as I know its going to remind my of its existence every time I clean the car :(

Seen these threads before on some forums i'm on and they're pretty amusing usually, and lets face it, this should be a pretty busy thread!

Currently mine has lost a bit of trim on the door sill, dropped off the other day whilst cleaning.

Plus last night my alarm went mental in the middle of the night and wouldn't turn off, so the neighbors all got to see me stumbling round in my boxers trying to turn it off whilst banging my foot due to having no contacts in.

My alarm is very unreliable - going off in the middle of the night and upsetting the neighbours. The telltale light on the dash flashes a code to tell you which sensor was triggered. On mine it flashes in 2s, meaning it is the microwave sensor detecting movement in the cab. You can disarm this sensor (if you remember) by pressing the big button for Cenral locking and alarm-set as usual, then press the small button twice, the car will bleep back. This switches off the m'wave detector and the ignition tamper detect. In reality, anyone can get into an Elise with a swiss army knife so the internal sensor is of dubious use - the main anti theft device is the immobiliser and this sets as usual
