Meister Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Thanks Alex - Just let me know when you can. Mark
John FISH Curtis Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Is it the full circuit? If there is not a medical crew on circuit, you cannot use the full circuit. However, I have attended many events at Curborough when the full circuit is used but if you get caught by the owner/organiser, you risk the day getting cancelled. Just watch the first corner if you do use the full circuit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meister Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Hi John What do you mean by the full circuit? I may have miss understood this as I thought a double lapper was the full circuit? If I have sorry Olliecast it may well NOT be the full circuit. Sorry. Mark
scatty Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I've always used the full circuit with no medical etc. well the past 3 times I've been. When I get home il dig out a vid from sat of the course we used. Which I'm sure is the full course..
M@r]{ Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Is there a noise limit on this day? Might be up for this, got 3 days annual leave to use by the end of March
Meister Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Hi Mark As far as I am aware there is nobody there to test for noise!!! Mines pretty loud so I don't think there would be a problem. I can ask the guy who's organising it if your really concerned. Let me know if you want in. Mark
John FISH Curtis Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Full circuit is from the start/end markers at the bottom of the hill, accessable from the paddock. If the gate is locked, you will have to use the gate at marshall post 1/medical parking area. No noise limit unless MSA event. You will have to break for 1 hour between 12-1 or 1-2pm as the residents complain.
M@r]{ Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 This sounds like it could be fun. But there is no timing right? Officially
John FISH Curtis Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 {' timestamp='1361828123' post='244366']This sounds like it could be fun. But there is no timing right? Officially Correct.......... how unfortunate that my phone has a stopwatch that accidently turned on and then off as a car passed me
scatty Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 a couple of vids of my mates at the weekend...non lotus im afraid.... 1st/2nd vids are the full circuit...
Meister Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Scatty - Thanks for the vids! I can't wait to give the Elise a good run round! Do you want in? Mark - I have a lovely little device called Qstarz http://www.gprdirect.com/Qstarz%20BT%20Q1000eX%20GPS%20Lap%20Timer it's the size of a box of matches. I then down load to a cheap laptop when I take a break and view the data - gets around the 'no timing' issue a treat!
chorton_1 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Sooooo tempting! Must try to resist........ *looks at bank account & time off work*
