Hi
One of the Lotus7 club guys has hired Curborough Sprint course in Lichfield on 14th March.
He has hired it for testing before the Lotus 7 sprint competition starts.
If he can get the numbers (10 ) it will be all day from 10am till 5pm or if not a halfday 10 - 1pm I believe.
I would point out the following points though...
a) There is no timing
There will be different skill levels
c) It is not restricted to Caterhams he is happy for ANY car to participate
d) This is purely for fun !!!

Because this is a private day there is no marshalling or medical assistance etc. Whilst you don't need a helmet I would recommend one.
I have only just had my Elise and am keen to get it on track ( I am a complete novice ! ). The nice thing about sprint courses is that there is only one car allowed around at a time so you don't have to worry about other cars! It would be nice if other Elise owners joined me.
As I said this is just for FUN and not competitive.
If you are interested please let me know asap.
PS - Cost for full day should be circa £60.

Thanks for the interest, as of last night he had 5 people inc me, so I would image he needs about 5 more for the full day ( which I would personally prefer )
Just let me know asap when you can confirm for definite.
I don't know the guy who is organising this personally, but from my experience the Lotus 7 guys are a really nice bunch.

Olliecast - All welcome ( As I mentioned don't have to be Lotus's cars either ) the guy just wants to get to 10 people asap.
If you are referring to 'dual driving' though I would have to check with him that that's OK - from my understanding though it is normally just the one driver per car.

Olliecast - Thinking about though, if your mate wants to pay £60 but use your car I wouldn't image that would be problem!! But would have to check first.

Olliecast - I would imagine that its the full circuit yes as there will only be 10 of us!! I recon we will able able to do 5 years worth of sprints in one day with only this number of people!

Be careful of the first corner at Curborough early in the year. There is sure to be some moss still on the track. Great fun little track

I was there yesterday. It's a great little circuit... Tough to keep the old tyres warm in this weather...well worth going if you can get the day off...

Both. :-) I went up with a few scoobs/evos who were testing for their sprint series. But managed to sneak a drive....

The cars engine is in bits with no sign of it going back together at the moment. I would otherwise.
