chrislane Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Yes it would - having read all reviews etc , listening to Jeremy Clarkson love it so much only criticism he gave was quality of cabin being bit tin-nie and satnav being useless and glare off dials - I can't understand those critical claims , satnav was fine and easier and better than fords, better than most it's standard satnav does the job, tin-nie feel (he must be comparing to massarati or ferraris) cause interior is fantastic , dials great, considering its lotus it's nothing like a kit car style it's like a premium production car I was stunned and in awe sat inside it felt like I was driving a grand tourer very comfy on a 4hour drive, ride is beautiful , v6 sounds gorgeous and everything feels like quality and I saw no glare on the dash screen - I think Clarkson may have been spoilt so as far for negatives I think , you got to do it, I had predicaments but you only live once if your able to enjoy things and want to enjoy them, then do it, only thing holding you back is yourself , once you get past that hurdle anything is achievable and why shouldn't it be, go get once and enjoy you won't regret they are really reasonably priced now. My sentiments exactly. Just need to convince her indoors now ;-)

Thanks , coaching business is always tough , leisure industry always hard work, but some really positive signs were going to be on TV on Thursday and you should see me on TV too lol. P4N Lotus Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Well it originally had vinyls on it and looked like a chelsea footballers car or a saudi oil tycoon, I had to remove them, the response with the vinyls got children dribbling at the windows and couple of chavs in their jelous rage giving me the international sign for wanker lol. So had to take them off as it looked too extreme, it already looks extreme without colours all over it, but now in its present state generally it gets too much attention, generally people just stopping and staring, had couple of oncoming traffic of people not concerntratng on the road as they pass and my personal favourite so far the flycatcher mouth, Generally people dont know what it is and ask loads of questions, but Ill have to meet up with a few of you locals think scatty is closest , but maybe there will be a trend I think some elises owners will end up up going for the evora, and think exige owners will end up going for the Exige V6. Its completely different car to the elise, not gained enough confidence yet though. With the elise I think you instantly know the limits and felt more like a gokart but the evora just feels like a differnt beast, I suspect similar to the espirt in its spirit - I know a few of you are considering getting one - I have to say - GO FOR IT!!! Motorway seem to get 31-33mpg and day to day Im currently doing 25mpg occasionally flooring it so I guess thats what you can expect from it

Blue and gold wing mirrors, front splitter was blue and gold, then there was wide blue centre stripe with two outer stripes that were navy and then two out stripes that were gold which went from the logo all the way to the back

I'm starting an Evora championship in my virtual online racing and had to choose a paint to copy in game and this is my new love at the moment.... Here is my in game version that I painted based on the above paint and another race version...
