Alex B Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Not a fault as such but I have a squeak coming from somewhere within my steering... Any ideas?
Phil S1 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Is it a squeak that occurs as you turn the steering wheel? If so, then it's likely to be the rubber grommet where the column goes through the bulkhead that needs a bit of lubrication. Well it is on a S1 anyway!
jody391 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Mine does that, I just turn the noise up on the throttle!!

Alex B Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 That was the girlfriends suggestion....
Alex B Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 Luckily for the mouse population it wasn't a mouse. It was a squeaking rubber bush on the front passenger side.
scatty Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Another 1/2 point towards the trophy though.... :-)
