Is it a squeak that occurs as you turn the steering wheel? If so, then it's likely to be the rubber grommet where the column goes through the bulkhead that needs a bit of lubrication. Well it is on a S1 anyway!

Mine does that, I just turn the noise up on the throttle!!

+1 Also make sure the pinch bolt is tight as well.
