jody391 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Finally had the chance to pick up my new diffuser.. Re drew the old design and changed a few lengths, then added some strakes. Lets see if it catches any bumps/kerbs etc!!
jody391 Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Cheers guys been meaning to sort one for a while, I will try to get it on for sunday Scatty. Just dropped it in for Black anodising!
John FISH Curtis Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Good work, although perhaps a few more rivets required for the two centre vanes?
jody391 Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Yeah it now has 4 each side Fish, thought the same too. The original design had the extra strakes as part of a one piece. But soon decided to do some adjustments! I'm getting it Black anodised and the place I took it to (Scot) knew what the part was from.. After alittle discussion turns out he anodises Yvo's (Elise shops) parts apparently.
scatty Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Yep, I was thinking exactly the same..... ;-)
DeanB Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Yep, I was thinking exactly the same..... ;-) Me too.

jody391 Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Well looking at Kurts sat in his footwell 2 Sundays in a row I thought I might bolt them on instead of rivets! The guy is sound. That had crossed my mind too Fish great minds and all that! The finish in the parts was impressive! They do chemical blacking too ( that's just for steel Scatty! )
