When i swap my battery tomorrow is there any thing i need to do ? Do i need to use fly leads to avoid disconnecting the power or is it ok to have the battery disconnected for a few minutes on the elise ?

There's a good guide on seloc wiki but basically loosen the earth first, then turn off the alarm and immobilser then disconnect the earth first. Make sure you always disconnect the earth first and when putting the battery back in always connect the earth last.
