For those that want to replace OEM bushes

I have bought a litre bottle of P-80 rubber lubricant emulsion, if anyone is planning to replace their bushes and wants some I have loads

The S2 Elise service notes requires it to use it to install bushes, let me know if you need some

thanks

I had read up and apparently washing up liquid can damage the bush. I also did not want to use grease or washing up liquid as it could lubricate the bush.

The bushes are designed to sit in the wishbone dry

The following is copied from Martin R suspension refresh page on the wiki

"The inner sleeve is clamped solidly and doesn't rotate. The rotation of the wishbones is done via wind-up of the bush, remember that the forces exerted by the suspension are massive compared to what you can do by hand. This is why it is very important that you fit the bushes in the correct orientation, and why the suspension should be tightened up at the correct ride height"

Just thought if I was going to do the best job I can, I would follow the lotus Service notes as closely as I can.
