Completed the final couple of jobs over the past few weeks to finish my engine upgrade, This included welding a flexi in to de-cat pipe, fitting an oil catch tank then re-fitting the clam.

My original CRP with a £13 ebay SS flexy welded in

Oil catch tank and intake filter fitted
After taxing the car on Friday I managed to clock up 250 “running in” miles this weekend with no problems, Just need to clock up a few more then get it booked in for RR session.
The Bad News……
So this evening I thought I would put the car back on ramps in the garage to get the under trays off and check every thing is OK, Anyway to do this I have to push the car right to the back of the garage against my tool box then wedge the ramps under the rear tyres and drive up, done this a few times in the past with no problems.
This is where it all went wrong, Ramps slipped a little so I eased off the power and the car ran back down the ramps and straight in to my tool box, You can guess the rest, damaged clam and damaged tool box, What a numpty !
So next weekends job is get the clam off and repair it, going to do a self repair as I can’t justify the money if tracking the car, it’s not a show car after all.

Busy weekend ahead removing clam and doing some body work.......

I think my tool box would have been a little worse if my workbench was not there, Maybe less damage to calm too !
